We'll Pump Any Non-Hazardous Liquid From:

Septic Tanks

Should be Pumped every 3-5 years.

Grease Traps

Should be pumped on average quarterly. We can service large, outdoor grease traps as well as smaller under sink units.

Shop Sumps

This includes car wash sumps, storm drains, oil change stations, and mechanic shops. These should be pumped as needed but at very least annually. In order to pump this type of waste it must be tested to ensure it isn't hazardous. Please call ET Technologies at 801-973-2065 for testing.

Process Waste Collectors

These are industrial holding tanks for things like machine coolant, parts washing bays, and any other manufacturing liquid that can't be sent into the city sewer system.

Pit Toilets

Any kind of out house. Should be pumped as needed but at least annually.

Holding Tanks

These are typically used in water shed areas where a leech system is illegal. They are also used where the type of soil can not support a leech system. They need to be pumped as needed prior to them being completely full.

Lift Stations

When you  have any kind of pump on a sewer system that is considered a lift station. These should be cleaned periodically as the pump won't remove all the waste in the sump. Excess waste buildup can jam your pump causing pre-mature failure.

Unusual Situations

If your tank is further than 100 feet or deeper than 15 feet most pumping companies cannot help you. We can! Just let us know what your situation is when you book with us and we will come prepared to solve your situation right away.

Septic Tank FAQ

Septic Tank Graphic

How often should I have my septic tank pumped?

For a family of 4 on a 1000 gallon tank I recommend every 3-5 years if using a bacteria treatment and every 2 years if not. If your tank is smaller or you have a larger family, it will need to be done more frequently.

Where is my septic tank located?

Septic tanks locations vary from house to house. They can be anywhere on your property. The lid to your tank can be at surface level, buried 9 feet deep, or anywhere in between. We can help you in locating your tank, just give us a call.

What kind of access do you need to pump my tank?

The lid to your tank needs to be uncovered, which depending on where your tank is and how deep it is, may require some excavating. The lid to your tank will typically be round, made of concrete, and 24 inches in diameter. They do come in all shapes and sizes, however, so if in doubt snap a picture and give us a call. They will be larger then a 4 inch circle which will typically be the cleanout for your sewer line, not the access for your septic.  Also, if your tanks is further then 100 feet from where we can park our truck, let us know ahead of time so we can bring the right equipment to help you out.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We offer a 10 percent discount to senior citizens and active military.

What other services do you offer?

In addition to pumping out septic tanks, we have a truck mounted water jetting system that we can use to clean out your line coming into your tank or the line going out of your tank with proper cleanout access. We can also use it to thoroughly flush out and pressure wash your entire tank to remove virtually all of the solid waste. We offer bacteria treatments to replace all the bacteria that was removed during pumping to keep your system functioning properly. We offer locating services as well to help you find your septic tank.

How soon can we schedule service?

Most times we can come the same day you schedule service, however we are sometimes booked out more than one day. In the event you have a pumping emergency just let us know! We can try to adjust our schedule with non emergency customers or schedule you after hours or on weekends if you need.
